The Greater Jefferson County Foundation receives, accepts and distributes funds for educational, cultural, civic and charitable purposes for the benefit of the greater community of Jefferson County, Iowa.

Giving for needy families in Boone County, Iowa. Giving also to Boone, YMCA scholarship fund for specific qualifying needy boys.

Giving for education scholarships, community services, including fire and medical services, and for recreation.

Most of Gannett's community grants target grassroots organizations in the areas of social/human services, health and mental health, benefiting the most disadvantaged people in our communities.

The foundation supports public libraries and organizations involved with children and youth.
