Grant Information
Grant dollars go to nonprofit organizations in the following categories: arts and culture; civic and community; education and financial literacy; health and wellness; human services; United Way. In addition to these areas, a special fund for disaster relief, such as the 2008 Cedar Rapids flood, the 2010 earthquake in Haiti or the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, may be established for employee donations, often matched dollar-for-dollar, and provided to a specific organization devoted to assisting in the relief effort.
Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, $75,000; National Czech & Slovak Museum, $40,000; Catherine McAuley Center, $25,000; Eastern Iowa Arts Academy, $7,500; Indian Creek Nature Center, $100,000; Matthew 25, $75,000; African American Museum of Iowa, $30,000; Mount Mercy University, $50,000; Alzheimer's Association, $5,000; United Way of East Central Iowa, $13,000.

Application deadline is November 1 of each year. Applications received after November 1 are considered for the next year.
