Grant Information
The foundation supports various charitable organizations as well as public and private colleges and universities. The foundation supports fairs and civic centers and organizations involved with arts and culture, higher education, cancer, and human services.
Alzheimers Association, $1500; Amerian Cancer Society, $1500; Food Bank of Iowa, $1415; Iowa State University Foundation, $1300; River Bend Food Bank, $1950; Des Moines Symphony Association, $300; Wounded Warrior Project , $750; Reiman Gardens, $55; Cherokee Fire Department, $10,000; On With Life Foundation, $500; Meals from the Heartland, $5,000.
Applications accepted year round.
Written requests should include amount requested, purpose of organization, and intended use of the requested funds. The board reserves the right to request additional information. Awards are at the discretion of the board of directors.
