The Association works to promote the general welfare and prosperity of its members by providing educational opportunities, legislative support, networking opportunities, and philanthropic programs.

To invest in the future of the motor vehicle sales and service industry awarding automotive scholarships. To develop programs and incentives with high schools, colleges, educational agencies, and the public to encourage automotive careers. 

The Foundation for Dubuque Public Schools (formerly the Dubuque Community School District Foundation) supports student achievement by promoting investment in the Dubuque Public Schools.

To provide financial assistance to promote youth programs, veterans rehabilitation, and community service in the state of Iowa. Provides scholarships and makes donations to charities. 

Committee selects scholarship recipients who meet criteria specified in organization documents. Open to applicants from the Iowa counties of Mahaska and Wapello for programs leading to degree as a registered nurse.

Giving for education, arts and culture, public affairs, social services, health, including cancer research, and aid for the handicapped.

The grant maker has identified the following areas of interest:

Scholarship awards to graduates of Coon Rapids- Bayard Community Schools, Iowa.

Scholarship awards to a student enrolled in an accredited college or university for training in the area of activities related to the care, education, or development of the mentally retarded.

To give funding primarily for crime/violence prevention, Roman Catholic agencies and churches, and health organizations.

Giving primarily to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Orlando, Florida; some scholarship grants to graduates of Weverly, Iowa, school system.
