Grant Information
Founded in 1953, the Moline Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization which provides grants to health, human services, education, community development, the arts, and other charitable organizations which benefit the citizens of Moline and the Quad Cities region.
More than $360,000 has been given to the area in the last year for projects and activities that benefit non-profit organizations and the people they serve.
The Literacy Connection, $500; Humility of Mary Housing, $1400; Children's Therapy Center, $2200; Camp Hand in Hand, $6500; Moline Public Library, $75,000; WVIK Public Radio, $11,250; Two Rivers YMCA, $25,000; Mercer County Nursing Home, S500; Figge Art Museum, $10,000; Niabi Zoo, $5000; Moline High School, $5000; Bethany for Children and Families, $35,000; Supplemental Emergency Asst. Program, $4000; Moline Soccer Club, $10,000; Boy Scouts Illowa Council, $900; Girl Scouts of the Mississippi Valley, $1000; WQPT Public TV, $3000; Martin Luther King Center, $1350; and Genesis Health Services Foundation, $5000.

Grants are made to nonprofit agencies located in the Moline Foundation service area including the Quad Cities region of Scott County, Iowa, and Rock Island, Mercer, Henry, Warren, Henderson and McDonough Counties, Illinois.
Grants are not generally available to agencies and institutions funded primarily through tax support.
