Retirement Research Foundation (Foundation on Aging)
During the last 43 years, RRF has awarded nearly 5,000 grants worth almost $255 million—all dedicated to improving the quality of life of older people. RRF focuses its grantmaking on four priority areas:
Omaha Community Foundation
The purpose of the Omaha Community Foundation is to coordinate informed, effective and innovative giving that inspires positive change within our communities.
Stebens (Bertha) Charitable Foundation
Giving for the benefit of people in Mason City and Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, through 501(c)(3) organizations or governmental organizations.
Community Foundation of Johnson County
Central to the work of the Community Foundation is our ability to connect those care to those who need through our granting programs.
Iowa West Foundation
The mission of the foundation is to improve lives and strengthen communities for present and future generations.
Hanson (John K. & Luise V.) Foundation
The Foundation has a special interest in projects that strengthen families through arts and culture, family recreation, and youth development/education. The Foundation also has philanthropic ties to the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.
Moline Foundation, The
Founded in 1953, the Moline Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization which provides grants to health, human services, education, community development, the arts, and other charitable organizations which benefit the citizens of Moline and
Stewart (Nellie C.) Charitable Foundation
Support only for Delta Kappa Gamma, Johnston, and Iowa Lutheran Health Services, and Wesley Acres Good Samaritan Fund, Des Moines, Iowa.
Magnus (A. J.) Home
Grants paid directly to the facility for elderly men, age 70 and older, in Muscatine, Iowa, to provide pleasant homes and nutritious meals.
