Grant Information
The mission of the foundation is to improve lives and strengthen communities for present and future generations. The foundation strives to provide leadership, create partnerships, leverage resources and serve as a catalyst in identifying and supporting community needs. The foundation has a special interest in the areas of community development and beautification, economic development, education, and human and social needs. Current focus includes assisting local schools to reduce the dropout rate, and to improve neighborhoods in Pottawattamie County, IA.
City of Council Bluffs, Loessfest 2019; River's Edge activation, $250,000; Manning Betterment Foundation, playground safe surface update, $3,000; Mills County Public Health, shelters in Mills County, $15,000; Tabor Public Library, $50,000.

Does not fund endowments.
The Foundation's primary geographic focus area is Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County. A secondary area of focus includes the Iowa counties of Cass, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, and Shelby and the Nebraska counties of Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington. Other eligible counties are Adams, Audubon, Carroll, Crawford, Fremont, Monona, Page, and Taylor, and Cass County, Nebraska.
