To  improve the health and wellbeing of the community and its individual members in the greater Cedar Valley Region, which is defined as the geographical area within 30 miles from the center of waterloo, Iowa, by funding grants. 

To give funding primarily for crime/violence prevention, Roman Catholic agencies and churches, and health organizations.

Support only for Delta Kappa Gamma, Johnston, and Iowa Lutheran Health Services, and Wesley Acres Good Samaritan Fund, Des Moines, Iowa.

The foundation supports organizations involved with arts and culture, education, public health, and children and youth.
