Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque Disaster Recovery Fund

To enable a coordinated response to help people in the Dubuque region most affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Application Deadline 

Grants are provided to community-based organizations/service providers active in current response and/or preparation in the area of economic and health impacts for vulnerable populations. 

Grants are made only to cover needs that are not being met by existing local, state and federal resources and programs. Initial grants are awarded outside of an application process to provide flexible support to trusted partners quickly and are provided for direct client assistance and/or organization capacity needs due to demands of the disaster.

The Foundation also oversees Judi Chandlee Tribute to Teachers Classroom Grants. Awards annual classroom grants of $100 - 500 to teachers across the district.

Hartig Charitable Foundation

Georgia-Pacific Foundation

Georgia-Pacific creates value in its communities by addressing mutual issues of importance which improve the quality of life in the communities where our employees live and work.

Application Deadline 

Contributions have helped fund public school robotics and reading programs, college scholarships, job training initiatives, equipment for local fire departments, conservation programs, and educational programs for young, female and minority entrepreneurs. Grants have also supported local chapters of charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, United Way and the Salvation Army.

Jackson County, Community Foundation of

The foundation seeks to nurture charitable giving, enrich quality of life, and promote a sense of community.

Falb Family Charitable Foundation

Gives primarily to the arts and education and human services. Fields of interest include disaster, fire prevention/control, heart and circulatory diseases, secondary and higher education, children/youth, services, and art museums.
