Katarina Newcamp

Biography

Katarina Newcamp is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Iowa studying Political Science with minors in Spanish and German and working toward a certificate in Political Risk Analysis. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is a Presidential Scholar at the University of Iowa. Katarina is involved with the United Nations Foundation Shot@Life Campaign, the co-ed club triathlon team, as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Public Policy Center, and as a campus tour guide. As an undergraduate student, Katarina has had the opportunity to spend a semester studying Spanish in Seville, Spain; to intern for the U.S. Department of State; and to travel across the country to compete in triathlons. She is excited to be a part of the Nonprofit Resource Center’s Summer Research Associate team!
