For far too long, there were very few places the most vulnerable members of our community could go for dental care. Often left to decide between putting food on the table and fixing a toothache, the tooth went untreated. The creation of Eastern Iowa Dental Center (EIDC), a new component of a Federally Qualified Health Center in Cedar Rapids, hoped to change this reality.
