American Legion of Iowa Foundation

The selection criteria for grants and awards are determined during the foundation's annual meeting in May. The foundation sends letters to all applicants to let them know whether or not they were selected. Organizations are informed that the money is to be used according to the purpose in the application. Awardees typically follow up with information regarding the completed project.
