The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa is to grant wishes of children with life- threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The foundation grants wishes to children under the age of 18 with life-threatening illnesses. Make-A-Wish becomes aware of a child's wish through wish referrals, which are accepted from parents and guardians or medical professionals.
