Support is given to independent secondary schools that have been members of the National Association of Independent Schools for ten consecutive years. Challenge grants are preferred for purposes of improving academic programs, scholarship aid, building programs, faculty salaries, faculty enrichment or other programs to improve the quality of the school's educational activities.
