FY26 Economic Development and Quality of Life grant application deadline

Description

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors announce the launch of the FY26 Economic Development and Quality of Life grant programs. These grant programs are designed to invest in local growth, equity, and community vitality, supporting 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) organizations that primarily serve Johnson County residents.  

Two grant programs are available: 

Economic Development Grants: Support rural development, housing access, local foods, and storefront improvements. 

Quality of Life Grants: Fund festivals, cultural events, and programs that build belonging, inclusion, and community pride. 

Awards range from $1,000 to $50,000, depending on the program. 

Applicants without nonprofit status are encouraged to collaborate with an eligible fiscal sponsor to facilitate their application.
