Please join us as we unveil Greater Des Moines' five-year strategic vision plan to addressing homelessness in Central Iowa. As the rate of homelessness continues to increase in our community, Homeward in collaboration with the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines as a strategic funding partner, began a planning process with consultant for Housing Innovations, Matt White, and other key community leaders. This six-month planning process included conversations with a variety of stakeholders in our community such as nonprofit service providers, people with lived experience, hospital systems and behavioral healthcare providers, developers, local government, as well as business leaders all across the varying urban, suburban and rural areas of Greater Des Moines. The result of this effort is the region's strategic vision plan aimed at working collaboratively across systems and industries to create progress in ensuring all members of our community have a safe space to call home.

Doors open at 1:30; program begins at 2:00 p.m.
