*Financial Info you Should Share with Your Board

Description

Nonprofit boards have a fiduciary responsibility to the organizations they serve. They need to make short and long-term financial decisions to strategically advance their missions. They also need to ensure internal controls are in place that safeguard their financial operations. Few join boards already with this knowledge. This two-hour workshop, hosted by the Iowa Nonprofit Association, will help staff and board alike increase their board members’ financial literacy, giving them a better understanding of the proposals and reports they should evaluate.
