The Nonprofit Party is an annual celebration of local nonprofit professionals and the incredible work they do to strengthen our community. The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation honors nonprofit employees (leaders or staff members) or founders of Linn County nonprofit organizations each year with a Spirit of Minnie Rubek recognition. The recognition allows organizations to honor an employee or founder who has gone “above and beyond” in their commitment and dedication to their organization and its mission, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization.

This year, the celebration takes place at the African American Museum Of Iowa, 324 3rd Street SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.
