Submissions are now being taken for the Spirit of Minnie Rubek recognitions. Linn County nonprofit organizations are encouraged to submit one nonprofit employee who goes "above and beyond" in their commitment and dedication to their organization for the Spirit of Minnie Rubek recognition. Submissions are due on Thursday, October 3, 2024. 

Honorees will be recognized at the Nonprofit Party at the Museum on Thursday, November 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the African American Museum of Iowa.
