Organizations recognized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or qualified government entities located within the greater Siouxland tri-state area (defined as a general 80-mile radius of Sioux City, Iowa) are eligible to receive grants from the Community Foundation. Grants to address present and emerging needs are made in the following focus areas: arts and culture, civic affairs, education, environment, health, and human services. See the Grants page of the website to search for grant opportunities for nonprofit organizations.
Each year, scholarships are given to students from funds established by generous donors who want to make an investment in the future of Siouxland’s youth. Each year, the application period opens November 1 with applications due on February 1.
