January is National Mentoring Month

Statistics show that youths who are mentored have higher levels of civic engagement and are more likely to pursue higher education. Learn how to become a mentor on the Iowa Mentoring website. Future Ready Iowa offers a virtual career mentoring program that brings college students and professionals in high-demand careers together.

Donna Reed
Celebrating the Contributions of Donna Reed

The Donna Reed Foundation for the Performing Arts in Denison, Iowa has supported arts education for more than 30 years with scholarships, internships, and workshops. The Donna Reed Heritage Museum, also in Denison, honors the legacy of this Oscar-winning actress and Iowa native. A celebration of Ms. Reed, born 100 years ago, will take place on January 27 at 10 a.m. on Produce Iowa’s Facebook page.
