Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs have launched an Iowa Arts & Cultural Recovery Program to provide short-term relief to arts venues, cultural organizations, and creative workers who have lost significant business or income due to the pandemic. Grants will range from $1,000 to $250,000 for arts and cultural organizations and eligible Iowa artists who can demonstrate revenue lost due to the pandemic. Applications must be received by 11:59 pm on December 11. The state has allocated $7 million of federal CARES Act funds for the program.
