Equity Conversations: Creating a Community of Belonging: Equity and Health

This is the third in a series of sessions held by the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission and the United Way of East Central Iowa. The purpose of the series is to build awareness and understanding around equity within the areas of education, financial stability, and health. Participants will have the opportunity to identify actionable steps for creating a Community of Belonging, including learning about CRCRC and UWECI’s partnership and nonprofit agencies working to address inequities.

The sessions meet from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and are free. Please register in advance. You only need to register once.

The final session is February 23 and will focus on next steps.
