Centering Equity & Shifting Practices
Event Category

Admission
$69

Across nonprofits and civil society, organizations have had to move quickly and creatively to respond to the needs of staff around Covid, the economic crisis, and the acceleration of movements for racial justice, including long-overdue attention to anti-Blackness specifically. This confluence of forces has required us to actively center equity and reimagine the ways we support our employees.

This webinar will explore the question: As leaders committed to social change and racial justice, what human resources practices can we use on our paths to become explicitly anti-racist organizations?

Using the books How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi and Accounting for Slavery: Masters and Management by Caitlin Rosenthal as inspiration, we’ll offer a perspective on why and how nonprofits and civil society organizations can shift their approaches to human resource management.

This webinar is ideal for:

  • Human resources directors and managers in nonprofits/civil society organizations
  • Executive directors and senior staff responsible for human resources
  • Consultants and capacity builders
