Are you starting a nonprofit? Should you? If so, how? This webinar will pose a few of the important questions you should answer before taking the big step of forming a nonprofit organization, as well as key steps to consider if you decide to do so. Completion of this session counts towards qualifying to be listed in the Register of Accountability. This is an introductory webinar for those who are considering starting, have recently started, or are hoping to grow a nonprofit organization in Iowa. At the conclusion of the session, participants will be better positioned to answer several key questions:
- What does the nonprofit sector in Iowa look like?
- Should I start a new organization?
- What are the state and federal rules it must follow?
- Who are the professionals and networks that serve the sector?
- What helps make new organizations successful?
