Do you love spending time outside? Are you passionate about the environment? Do you enjoy improving and beautifying your community? Needing some extra service hours? If any of these sound like you, then roll up your sleeves and mark your calendars for the Environmental Science Club's "Spring Cleaning Along the Iowa River," the biggest trash pick-up event of the season!
This event will be from 10 AM to 12 PM. We will meet at the Lagoon Shelter House by Hancher Auditorium. The route for the trash pick-up will be marked in a loop along the Iowa River. Additionally, a few local, environmentally oriented organizations will have booths set up at the Lagoon Shelter House to share information about their groups and interact with the community. Refreshments will be provided.
