Volunteer Iowa Day at the Capitol
Event Category

Hosted by Volunteer Iowa (Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service) for our programs and partners each year, this event is designed to communicate the value of service and the public policy priorities of Volunteer Iowa to legislators and policy makers. Participants have the opportunity to talk with their legislators about the impact volunteers have in Iowa and the critical services volunteers and national service members provide in their communities.

There is no fee to attend, but registration is strongly encouraged. Each participant should register individually. A training webinar will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, on January 17. The webinar will prepare attendees with information about the day and Volunteer Iowa's current policy priorities. A recording will be made available to participants.
