Saturday, September 25 is Volunteer Day at more than 20 state parks throughout Iowa. Volunteers are needed to help deconstruct, rebuild and/or repaint picnic tables, harvest native seeds, pick up litter, and more. Projects vary depending upon the needs at each park. Start times also vary. Volunteers are encouraged to wear old clothes and to bring their own water and snacks.
