Tree Planting

Families, youth groups, individuals, and other volunteers are needed to form planting groups to plant trees along the Riverside nature trail. Groups will be assigned to a specific area along the trail. Holes will be dug prior to the planting date. Mulch piles and other supplies will be provided at each planting site.

For more information and to sign up, contact Riverside City Hall by email or telephone using the contact information provided below. Planting will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Volunteers are invited to bring their own tools such as rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows and should label them with their names. 

On planting day, volunteers will gather at the beginning of the trail near 410 River St.
