Nonprofits leaders face headwinds as inflation squeezes budgets and hiring talented staff remains a vexing challenge. To understand just how CEOs are faring in a post-pandemic world, the Chronicle commissioned a survey and conducted interviews with nonprofit CEOs. More than 60 percent say it is harder to fill empty positions these days, especially C-suite roles. Fundraising is another sticking point: close to half are not happy with the amount of time they must spend fundraising. More than 75 percent are dissatisfied with the amount of fundraising their boards do. See a fuller description at the event website.
