This seminar will cover how and where to find grants including grant makers at state and federal levels, foundation grants, corporate giving programs, and how to track grant opportunities so that deadlines are not missed. Attendees will also look at how to write winning grants by learning the essential components of a proposal package, understanding how to customize proposals, and learning how to develop working relationships with grant makers.
NOTE: The seminar is hosted by the Des Moines Police Training Academy and will be held in the main classroom at 433 E. Army Post Rd., Des Moines, IA 50315.
