*Grant Writing with Ethics: Aligning Mission to Impactful Grants
Event Category

Admission
$10

How do you find the right grant opportunities to meet your organization’s specific needs? And once you’ve found a potential match, how do you build and maintain a positive relationship with the funder to make sure your application is best positioned? Rather than blasting applications out into the void, this session will focus on how to research, identify, and match funding resources with your organization’s needs, so that you can focus on submitting the right applications. We will cover nationally recognized ethical standards for grant seekers, including promoting positive relationships with all stakeholders and ensuring funds are solicited according to program guidelines. With more than 20 years of experience in grant writing and over $42 million in funds raised, Cyndi MacKenzie is poised to share what she has learned along the way about how to find and secure the right grants to fund your organization’s mission. You'll walk away with tools to identify aligned grant opportunities as well as methods and strategies to cultivate strong relationships with funders to support your cause.

This session is intended for nonprofit staff and board members who research and/or write grants.

Session Facilitator: Cyndi MacKenzie, Grant Professional Certified, Cyndi MacKenzie Consulting
