DonorConnect: Justice for All
Event Category

In Iowa, 4% of our neighbors are Black Americans, yet they account for 20% of individuals in our jails and 24% in our prisons. By understanding racial inequities in our community and the systemic issues that lead to them, we learn how to address the challenges before us as we seek to be better together.

Join us for this free webinar as we listen to, learn from, and are challenged by Izaah Knox of Urban Dreams, Betty Andrews of the Iowa-Nebraska NAACP, and Cheryl Hayes of  AMOS. These leaders represent organizations working diligently on policy changes and programs ranging from implicit bias trainings to restorative justice programs as we seek to move our community forward in a way that heals and ensures justice for all.
