This is the first event in the Community Learning Series hosted by the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. Susan Longworth, Senior Business Economist of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will present a study of what cities like Cedar Rapids can do to extend economic opportunity to all residents. Cedar Rapids was part of this study which looked at Midwestern cities whose economies are becoming less concentrated on manufacturing.
