Sustaining Racial Healing Where You Live (Zoom)
Event Category

Understanding the dynamics of racial equity and systemic racism in rural Iowa communities is a complex journey. These interactive conversations will give leaders in our small, rural towns knowledge and tools to apply in their work bringing the community together around what they have in common, not what divides them. Building strong communities requires all voices to be part of the conversation. This begins by understanding factors that shape our own lives and our neighbors' lives.

Join other regional leaders to learn about racial healing in this last in a series of four online conversations. The focus will be on sustaining racial healing in one's own community.

To sustain learning, the group will explore a menu of action steps and policies that will help sustain racial healing.

Application: What leadership groups in my community can benefit most from this learning? How can you pass it on?
