The session is aimed at newly elected board members, volunteers interested in board service, seasoned board members seeking to re-familiarize themselves with the role and responsibilities, executive directors, and nonprofit leadership staff.
Effective board members must also possess a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities to keep an organization on track. This interactive session is designed to introduce participants to the roles of nonprofits and their boards and empower them to map out meaningful plans. Through video, storytelling and hands-on workbook exercises, we will explore the dimensions of commitment, governance and fiduciary duties.
