Great Lakes understands the transformative benefits of higher education: it has the power to change lives for the better. But only if a student completes a degree or certificate. Our corporate education philanthropy program has just one goal: helping students from low-income households, students of color, and first-generation students get into college and graduate. Great Lakes commits grant funding to colleges, universities, community-based organizations and other initiatives that promote innovative and scalable solutions to improving college access and completion nationwide.


Applicants must be one of the following types of organization: nonprofit, Title IV-eligible, institution of higher education OR community-based nonprofit organization, classified as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
