Bill Boyd

Bill Boyd is an attorney with the Nyemaster Goode law firm in Des Moines. He works primarily with corporate entities on acquisitions, secured loans, and contracting matters, as well as on governance, organizational, operational, and planning issues. He advises health care and health insurance clients on insurance regulation and compliance measures. In addition, Bill represents financial institutions on transactional matters and bank regulatory issues.

He has extensive experience with nonprofit organizations—including charitable organizations, foundations, and trade associations. He edited Nonprofit Law: A Practical Guide to Legal Issues of Nonprofit Organizations (American Bar Association, 2017), was co-editor for Guidebook for Directors of Nonprofit Corporations (American Bar Association, 2012), and was a contributor to The Governing Board for Iowa Charitable Nonprofits (University of Iowa, 2007).

Bill received his B.A from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.
